Registered Nurse High Care Unit – Qualified

The Registered Nurse in the High Unit (HCU) at Johannesburg Surgical Hospital plays a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and maintaining a safe and efficient environment for surgical patients. Requirements

Must be a registered nurse with a valid nursing license recognized by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
Valid BLS/ ACLS certification
Demonstrated competence in critical care nursing, including proficiency in managing advanced life support equipment and dealing with critically ill patients.
In-depth knowledge of relevant clinical procedures, medications, and protocols for HCU patients.
Strong ability to assess patient conditions, interpret diagnostic data, and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the healthcare team and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and adherence to ethical standards.
