Johannesburg Surgical Hospital’s Emergency Unit is a 24-hour state-of-the-art facility, equipped to handle any emergency at any time. With highly skilled emergency physicians and experienced staff always on-site, we ensure prompt, expert care for all patients. 

Our unit features 3 resuscitation beds, dedicated triage, and examination cubicles to provide swift, efficient treatment. We work closely with EMS for seamless patient transfers and have on-site radiology and access to various specialist doctors on call. At JSH, we’re committed to delivering immediate, quality emergency care around the clock.
