Dr Chiara Sewnarain is a Specialist Paediatrician with a passion for providing compassionate, evidence-based healthcare to infants, children, and adolescents. She obtained her medical degree from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University before completing her specialist training in Paediatrics through the University of the Witwatersrand, qualifying as a Paediatrician in 2025.
Throughout her career, Dr Sewnarain has been dedicated to caring for children and supporting families through both routine and complex healthcare challenges. Her areas of interest include newborn care, child development, preventative medicine, growth and nutrition, respiratory illnesses, and empowering parents with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their children’s health.
As the founder of Little Miracles Paediatric Practice, Dr Sewnarain is committed to creating a welcoming environment where families feel heard, supported, and respected. She believes that excellent healthcare extends beyond diagnosis and treatment—it is about building relationships, trust, and confidence with every family she serves.
